ContentChecker anti-spam utility from Sparklist

As a list owner, you may have experienced first-hand the frustration of seeing your opt-in mailing blocked by an anti-spam filter. In order to protect their clients from real junk, some email providers and ISPs unfortunately block legitimate email in the process.

One of the more popular anti-spam applications available today is the SpamAssassin™ spam identification tool; it's open source, includes several hundred tests and filters, and allows mail administrators to customize their threshold for spam. Depending on how your newsletter is written, or how an application like this is configured, your opt-in email may be inadvertently tagged as spam.

Sparklist can help you combat these "false positives" by checking your message before you send it. We've incorporated SpamAssassin's™ rules into the "ContentChecker" Web form below. Run your sample message through ContentChecker, and you'll receive a detailed evaluation. The report will tell you if your message triggered any red flags that might block it. You can then make recommended changes, and mail with the confidence that your message meets industry standards.

ContentChecker uses SpamAssassin's™ numerous filters, and rates your message with a points system. Messages that score 5 points or higher are more likely to be considered spam.
