Part 9: Mail merge
Mail merge tags allow you to customize the contents of your email messages. Lyris ListManager automatically replaces mail merge tags with the appropriate information. For example, you can personalize the greeting for each message recipient.
Where can I use mail merge tags?
You can use mail merge tags in any part of any message Lyris ListManager sends. You can use them in the headers, footers, subject line, "hello" documents... anywhere that you would like to customize your message.
Useful mail merge tags
%%nameemail%% - Recipient's name and email address
%%emailaddr%% - Recipient's email address
%%fullname%% - Recipient's name (or email address if no name)
%%firstname%% - Recipient's first name
%%memberid%% - Recipient's member id
%%list.name%% - List name
%%site.name%% - Domain name
%%email.list%% - Email address for posting to the list
%%email.owner%% - List owner's email address
%%email.unsub%% - Unsubscribe email address
