  Getting Started with ListManager 7.0

    Part 6: Reports

Once you've sent out a mailing, you'll want to know how successful it's been. ListManager offers extensive reporting on your mailings and membership. There are two categories of reports: Mailing Reports, and Members Reports. Mailing Reports allow you to monitor your mailings' success, clickthroughs and more. You can learn how large your list is, the status of your members, and more with Members Reports. When you click on the Reports tab, you have the following options:

Mailings reports

There are four kinds of mailing reports: Delivery Statistics, Mailing Statistics, Tracking Statistics, and Refer-a-Friend Statistics.

    Delivery Statistics tell you about:

    • How many members have yet to receive your message
    • How many messages failed, and whether their bounce was hard or soft

    Mailing Statistics tell you about:

    • The status of your message
    • How many members have received your message

    Tracking Statistics tell you about:

    • How many members have opened your message
    • How many members have clicked trackable links
    • How many members have gone to web pages with click stream tags

    Refer-a-Friend Statistics tell you:

    • Information about referrers, friends, and joiners

If you'd like to find out who has clicked or opened a particular mailing, click on the CT (clickthrough) or Open number. You'll be taken to a page where you can see a list of those people. You can then create a segment of those people, or download a file that lists these addresses.

Members reports

    Members Reports tell you about:

    • The subscription activity on your list
    • The total number of members on your list
    • The number of members according to their membership status (e.g., unsubscribed)
    • The numbers of members according to their membership type (e.g., digest)
    • The number of members according to domain (e.g., aol.com, hotmail.com)
    • The number of members in major domains
    • The number of members who receive mail in a particular format (e.g., HTML, AOL).
    • Demographic reports

Other reports

In addition, there are Web site, interest, and purchase reports (only available in the SparkCampaign package).

Web Site Reports tell you about:

    • Comparison of tracked pages, and how a particular web page is being seen
    • Web site usage caused by a particular mailing

    Interest Reports tell you about:

    • Numbers of members at each particular interest stage
    • Interest points and interest events
