Getting Started with ListManager 7.8
Part 3b: Using Templates
ListManager allows you to create content which can then be saved as a template for future content. An example of this would be if you create a monthly newsletter create the first one, save it as a template, and then re-use the content and change the text for following months. ListManager also includes a series of built-in templates, which may be helpful in creating your own templates or to get creative ideas.
- From the Content menu, click on New Content from Template.
- Select the desired template from the dropdown menu and click Go. There are some examples provided for you, which you can view, enlarge, and populate by clicking on the photo:
Once you click Go, you will be taken to the Content: New Content: Essentials page, as described above. If you have chosen one of the sample templates, you will be prompted to fill in the different sections of the template as needed.
- If you click Preview you can see what your content template will look like and make any edits or necessary changes.
- Once you create a few templates, you can view them and edit them by clicking Templates from the Content menu:
Choose to see either your own templates, or the built-in templates from the drop-down menu. Edit the templates by clicking on the template name, or test, copy, or delete them using the buttons to the right of each content name.
