How do I get reports sent to me?

    Subscription and delivery reports can be emailed to any list administrator who is set to receive list admin mail. To make this setting, navigate to the Utilities: Members section. Click on the list administrator email address, and select the tab. Toggle the Receive list admin mail? field to "yes".

    Next, navigate to the Utilities: List Settings: Basic Information section and click the tab. Select from the variety of Subscription and Delivery reports. For more information, click the icon (or view the User's Manual).

How can I receive a copy of list members?

    Member reports can be downloaded as comma-delimited values (CSV files) directly from the Sparklist interface. After entering your list as an administrator, go to the Utilities: Members section. Click the icon you will be prompted to save a .csv file. Click and the download process will begin.

    To download a specific segment of your members (instead of all), first create the segment and then click on the icon from the segment's results page:

Can you have more than one list administrator?

    Yes, you may have as many list administrators for a given list as you deem necessary. There are two ways to designate any list member as an administrator:

    1. Enter the list as an administrator and navigate to the Utilities: Members section. Click on the list administrator email address, and select the tab. Toggle the Is list admin? field to "yes", and toggle the other admin fields as desired. When finished, click .

    2. Enter the list as an administrator and navigate to the Utilities: Administration: Admins: List admins section and a list of current admins will be displayed. To create a new one, click the button.

How can I delete a member?

    To delete a member, enter your list as an administrator and navigate to the Utilities: Members section. Either search for the member and click the button, or use the drop-down menu to select "Delete many members". Learn more in the ListManager User's Manual.

How can I use clickthrough tracking?

    With clickthrough tracking, you can monitor and analyze how your list members respond to the links within your email list messages. Learn more in the User's Manual.

How do I setup the MX line?

    In order for you subdomain to work properly, you must ask your ISP (the controller of your domain) to add the MX line to your domain's database files. Learn more.

How can I brand my company's name in my list address?

Why do some of my digest messages look garbled?

    Attachments or HTML can appear as garbled text if a member kind is set to "digest" instead of "mimedigest". To set the member kind to "mimedigest", enter your list as an administrator and navigate to the Utilities: Members section. Locate the desired member and click its email address, then click the tab. Change the Membership kind selection to "mimedigest". When finished, click the button.

How can I block all messages with attachments?

    You can create an "match phrase" for this purpose. (Note that "action phrases" were renamed as "match phrases" with the release of ListManager 7.0.) To create a match phrase, enter your list as an administrator and navigate to the Utilities: Automated Messages section, then click "Match Phrases". Paste the following lines in the Search Phrases field:

    Content-Disposition: attachment;
    Content-Type: application;
    Content-Type: text/x-vcard;
    Content-Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature;
    Content-type: multipart/mixed;
    X-MS-Attachment:

    (Note that Content-Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature should be on one line, without wrapping.)

    Click the tab and change the Rule field to "phrase appears anywhere in the message".

    We suggest that you do not put your email address in the Notify section for this filter. When finished, click the Save button.

How can I reject HTML replies to my discussion list?

    You can create an "match phrase" for this purpose. (Note that "action phrases" were renamed as "match phrases" with the release of ListManager 7.0.) To create a match phrase, enter your list as an administrator and navigate to the Utilities: Automated Messages section, then click "Match Phrases". Paste the following lines in the Search Phrases field:

    Content-Type: text/html
    Content-Type: text/enriched
    Content-Type: multipart/alternative

    We recommend that you put your email address in the Notify section for this filter. When finished, click the Save button.
